Kathleen is a nationally-known speaker, trainer, writer, and digital marketing expert. She has an MBA in International Marketing and is Inbound Marketing Certified and a HubSpot Gold Level Certified Partner. As the Owner and CEO of Quintain, she has developed marketing strategies and provided branding advice for more than 50 small and medium sized businesses from throughout the United States.
Kathleen has contributed marketing expertise to numerous publications including Advantages Magazine, CIO.com, the American Express OPEN Forum, Bank of America Small Business Community, Stitches Magazine, the Content Marketing Institute, YFS Magazine, SmartCEO Magazine, and Wearables Magazine.
Kathleen currently resides in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband, four children, two dogs and four chickens. In what little free time she has, she enjoys running, travelling and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.
John is the President of Quintain Marketing and leads the firm’s creative team. With over 15 years’ of sales, leadership and marketing experience, John has an insider’s understanding of what businesses need as well as the creative skills to develop marketing solutions that are unique and effective. Prior to joining Quintain Marketing, John was the Senior Vice President of Benchworks, a Maryland-based promotional marketing firm.
Before entering the promotional marketing field, John spent 13 years in the professional services and IT industries, most recently as Director of Business Development with Tek Systems, an Allegis Group Company. Through his IT background, John has led the expansion of Quintain Marketing’s e-commerce solution product offerings.
Director of Sales
A respected digital marketing executive, Patrick Sitkins has co-authored Brand Damage – It’s Personal! with Larry G. Linne. The book focuses on entrepreneurial strategies for creating and managing a unified personal brand. Featuring illustrations and stories that underline key points, the volume explores elements that can damage brands at all individual and corporate levels. Patrick Sitkins also discusses effective ways of integrating social media and online marketing approaches. Professionally, Patrick Sitkins holds a key business development role with Quintain Marketing, a next- generation digital marketing firm. Partnering with small-to-mid-sized businesses, he and his team emphasize a coordinated approach to maximizing search engine visibility and utilizing websites and multimedia to drive traffic and revenue. Clients span a diversity of industries, including hospitality, insurance, and technology. Mr. Sitkins holds a degree in marketing from Jacksonville University and has extensive experience providing advisory services to independent insurance brokerages and agencies. He enjoys a number of outdoor activities in his free time, including mountain biking and triathlon competitions.
As Art Director at Quintain Marketing, Jessie-Lee brings a unique blend of graphic design skills as well as marketing and social media knowledge. She has a BA in graphic design and her design background has brought a fresh and creative outlook to complement the marketing strategy advice Quintain provides clients. Through her experience developing logos and creating corporate identity guidelines for numerous companies and brands, Jessie-Lee has an innate understanding of the branding process.
In addition to her design skills, Jessie-Lee has extensive experience in the design and implementation of social media strategies including blogging, and the use of platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
As Marketing Manager, Heidi Schmidt brings a unique blend of social media and communications experience from non-profit and for-profit organizations. She has managed social networks, blogs, website content and newsletters and built strategic social media plans for small businesses. In addition to her marketing and social media work, she has spent over three years contributing to a variety of publications such as Chesapeake Inspired magazine, the Bay Weekly newspaper, and Chesapeake Taste magazine along with a number of local and national website based publications.
Katlyn has a BS in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virigina. In addition to her graphic design expertise, Katlyn is a professional photographer and is pursuing an additional degree in Psychology.
As Project Manager, Malissia brings a strong eye for detail and ability to understand the marketing process from inception to execution. Formerly the Color and Trend Manager for Walmart Corporation and a Senior Color/Print Manager with Jones NY, Malissia has extensive experience coordinating product decoration with domestic and overseas supply chains. Malissia has a BA in Design Marketing from the Parsons School of Design. Prior to joining Quintain Marketing, Malissia spent the last 15 years of her career working in the apparel industry specializing in trend and color forecasting.
