Digital Death
Monday, Decmeber 1st was a sad day in the entertainment industry. A number of famous singers, actors, and Hollywood socialites were found digitally dead…
This past Monday was World AIDS Day and in an attempt to help raise money to save millions of lives affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India, the world’s most followed celebrities sacrificed their digital lives. What does this mean? Well, for starters, you won’t be seeing any Twitter or Facebook updates from any of them until they reach their goal of $1,000,000.

Each of the participants created a video called their Last Tweet and Testament where they ask their fans to help resurrect them digitally by buying their lives back. Every dollar that is donated to Keep a Child Alive will be spent on helping to fight this terrible epidemic.
So, if your guilty pleasure is looking at Lady Gaga’s Twit Pics or finding out what Justin Timberlake had for dinner last night, you may want to think about making a contribution.
Other digital deaths include Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Alicia Keys, Elijah Wood, Lenny Kravitz, Ryan Seacrest, Serena Williams and many more.
